Child Safety Standards
Last updated: September 25, 2026
1. Our Commitment
ClickChat is committed to providing a safe environment for users and to preventing the exploitation of minors. We comply with all applicable child safety laws, including the United States Code 18 U.S.C. § 2258A, COPPA, and GDPR-K, and we cooperate with global law enforcement efforts to combat CSAE and CSAM.
2. Age Requirement
The ClickChat website and browser chat trial are intended for users aged 18 and older only. Users must confirm they are at least 18 years old before using the browser chat trial. Users under 18 may not use the website or browser chat trial, even with parental permission. Users must also meet any higher minimum age required by local law.
Website trial accounts identified as belonging to users under 18 are suspended and removed. Their personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
The browser trial shares matching with app users. We do not independently verify users' ages or guarantee an adult-only matching pool. If you suspect a user is underage or at risk, end the interaction and report it.
Parental Guidance
If you believe a child has accessed the website or browser chat trial, please contact appclickchat@gmail.com. We encourage parents and guardians to:
- Discuss safe online communication with their children

- Grooming, solicitation, or sexual exploitation of minors
- Sextortion or coercion targeting minors
- Sharing, requesting, or producing CSAM in any form
- Trafficking or facilitating the trafficking of minors
- Adults seeking romantic or sexual relationships with minors
- Sharing of personal contact information by or with minors
- Any communication intended to harm, abuse, or exploit a child
4. Protecting Children and Responding to Underage Use
Our 18+ website eligibility rule does not reduce our responsibility to respond to suspected child exploitation or underage use. We provide the following reporting and response measures:
- Reporting and blocking: Use the report and block controls in browser chat to flag suspected underage use, inappropriate content, or exploitation.
- Review and enforcement: Our team reviews reports and takes action against violations, including removal of content and suspension or termination of accounts.
- Evidence preservation and reporting: We preserve relevant evidence and report suspected CSAM to the appropriate authorities as required by law.
- Direct safety contact: Parents, guardians, and other concerned people can reach our child-safety contact below. If a child is in immediate danger, contact local law enforcement.
5. How We Prevent and Detect CSAE/CSAM
- In-app and browser reporting: Every user can report inappropriate behavior or content directly through the report button in the mobile app or browser chat.
- Content moderation: We employ automated detection systems combined with human review to identify violations.
- Account enforcement: Violating accounts are permanently banned, and the associated device/identifiers are blocked where technically possible.
- Evidence preservation: When a violation is detected, relevant data is preserved for law enforcement.
- Cooperation with authorities: We cooperate with NCMEC, INHOPE, and local law enforcement.
6. Reporting CSAE/CSAM
In-App and Browser Reporting
Users can report any chat or user violating our Child Safety Standards via the report button available in every conversation. Reports are reviewed promptly, typically within 24 hours.
